| 설명 | 상용량의 약물을 사용했음에도 불구하고 과량의 경우와 똑같은 주작용의 과잉발현을 하는 경우 불내성이라고 한다. 생체 측에 어떠한 잠재적 장해가 존재하거나, 다른 약품이나 그 첨가물 등과의 상호작용에 의해, 그 약물의 흡수, 대사, 배설 등에 변화가 일어나, 결과적으로 그 약물의 혈중농도의 상승을 초래하기 때문이라고 생각된다. |

| 설명 | 포도당 1몰과 갈락토오스 1몰로 이루어지는 이당류의 하나. 분자식 C22H22O11, 분자량 342.29. 유당이라고도 한다. 무색결정으로서 약간의 단맛이 있다. 우유 속에는 약 4.5%, 인유 속에는 약 7% 함유되어 있다. 환원기의 입체배치의 차에 의해 α형과 β형이 있으며, 20℃에서는 약 37.3% 대 62.7%의 비율로 존재한다. 이 상태의 락토오스를 평형락토오스라고 한다. 어린이의 영양제로 쓴다. |

| 설명 | 약을 투여하는 방법에는 여러 가지가 있다. 크게 나누어 보면, 입을 거쳐 위창자계를 통해 넣는 방법과 위창자계를 통하지 않고 바로 혈액으로 넣는 방법이 있다. 위창자계를 통하지 않는 방법으로 가장 흔한 방법은 주사를 이용하는 방법이다. 하지만, 이외에 항문을 통해 넣는 좌약식방법과 혀밑에 넣는 혀밑투여법도 있다. 그러나 대부분의 약제는 경구복용을 하게 된다. 경구복용에 대한 약자는 p.o.(per oral)로 표기한다. 경구복용제의 단점은 복용한 약제가 위창자관계를 거치면서 사람마다 각기 다른 흡수정도와 대사정도를 거치게 되므로 일정한 농도유지가 어렵다는데 있다. 또한 경구복용제의 모양이 캡슐형인지, 혹은 가루형인지에 따라서도 같은 약이지만, 서로 다른 효과를 나타낼 수 있다. |

| fructose intolerance | An autosomal recessive fructose metabolism disorder due to deficient fructose-1-phosphate aldolase (ec 2.1.2.13) activity, resulting in accumulation of fructose-1-phosphate. The accumulated fructose-1-phosphate inhibits glycogenolysis and gluconeogenesis, causing severe hypoglycaemia following ingestion of fructose. Prolonged fructose ingestion in infants leads ultimately to hepatic failure and death. | lactose operon | Group of adjacent and coordinately controlled genes concerned with the metabolism of lactose in E. Coli. The lac operon was the first example of a group of genes under the control of an operator region to which a lactose repressor binds. When the bacteria are transferred to lactose containing medium, allolactose (which forms by transglycosylation when lactose is present in the cell) binds to the repressor, inhibits the binding of the repressor to the operator and allows transcription of mRNA for enzymes involved in galactose metabolism and transport across the membrane (_ galactosidase, galactoside permease and thiogalactoside transacetylase).
