| Kent's bundle |
a muscular bundle in the heart of several mammalian species forming a direct connection between the atrial and ventricular walls; it occasionally occurs in the human heart, where it can form an accessory conducting pathway allowing the preexcitation of the ventricle that occurs in the Wolff-Parkinson-White syndrome. Called also atrioventricular pathway.
