| ipecac | A syrup that is used to induce vomiting, most often after ingestion of a potentially harmful substance. This dose may be repeated one time in 20 minutes if vomiting has not occurred. For children 1-12 years, give 15cc of ipecac, immediately followed by a glass of water (240cc).
