CFC Provides financing to rural electric and telephone cooperatives. Class A members of CFC are rural electric distribution systems and G&T or telephone cooperatives. An associate member can be any non-electric not-for-profit business or cooperative that is owned, operated or controlled by a Class A member. CFC will provide loans to qualifying associate members for community development projects, such as water or sewer systems, or ambulance or cable and satellite television services.
