| 설명 | 피부의 땀샘에서 땀을 분비하는 일. 체온이 높아졌을 때 일어나는 체온조절 현상으로서, 땀샘으로부터의 수분증발로 체열의 발산이 많아져서 체온이 조절된다. 발한은 일반적으로 온열자극에 의해 피부온도가 43~46℃가 되었을 때 일어난다. 이것을 온열성 발한이라고 한다. 인체에는 정신적인 긴장으로도 땀나는 부위가 있는데 콧등-이마-겨드랑이-손바닥 등이며, 이것을 정신성땀남이라고 한다. 땀남의 중추는 시상하부로, 정신성 땀남과 온열성 땀남은 그 중추가 서로 다르다. 정신작업이나 감정의 움직임 등에 의해 손바닥에 정신성 땀남이 일어나 피부의 전기저항이 감소하는 것을 이용한 것이 거짓말탐지기이다. 말-당나귀 등은 사람과 마찬가지로 전신땀남을 하지만 소-돼지-개 등은 신체의 일부분에서만 발한한다. |
