Wrinkles in this region may be deep, yet this region is more prone to scarring due to its mobility. For superficial wrinkles, I use the erbium square scan, with 30 to 50 percent pattern overlap at 15 to 20 J/cm 2 . Two passes are made. If wrinkles are still apparent, use a single 3-mm spot, at 7 J/cm 2 and 5 Hz, to further decrease the wrinkle shoulders.
