| porokeratosis |
a rare, chronic, progressive autosomal dominant skin disorder, seen most often in males, usually first appearing in early childhood, and characterized clinically by the presence of crater-like patches with central atrophy and an elevated thick keratotic border that enlarge to form circinate, serpiginous, or gyrate lesions, and histologically by a cornoid lamella (q.v.). Called also p. of Mibelli.
