| 설명 | 뇌의 아래부분에 존재하는 조그만 기관이다. 뇌하수체는 2부분으로 구성되어 있다(샘하수체(adenohypophysis)와 신경뇌하수체(neurohypophysis). 또한 이곳의 위에는 시상하부(hypothalamus)가 존재하는데, 이곳 시상하부의 각 부위에서 생산되는 여러호르몬은 신경섬유(nerve fiber)를 따라 내려와 뇌하수체중 신경뇌하수체에서 분비된다. 그리고 신경뇌하수체에서 분비되는 호르몬은 다음과 같다. antidiuretic hormone(ADH): 항이뇨호르몬. 소변의 양을 감소시키는 호르몬으로 신장에서 수분의 흡수를 촉진시켜 소변의 양과 횟수를 감소시킨다. oxytocin: 옥시토신. 자궁의 수축을 촉진시켜, 출산시에 아기가 잘 나올 수 있도록 해주며, 또한 출산후 유즙분비에도 관여한다. |
