| 설명 | 생물체에서 세포의 작용으로 유기물질을 합성하는 일. 생체 추출성분에 의한 생체 외에서의 반응도 이것에 포함시킨다. 효소가 그 주역이며, 생체는 외계에서 섭취한 물질을 바탕으로 많은 단계로 이루어지는 효소반응에 의하여 목적물질을 형성한다. 생리적으로는 분해대사의 반대되는 뜻을 가지며, 생체 구성물질과 그 밖의 필요성분의 합성-보급-저장에 관여한다. 일반적으로 생합성 과정은 에너지 요구성이며, 반응의 실현에는 에너지 공급반응과 함께 호흡-발효 등에 의하여 생기는 고에너지 인산결합(ATP 등)을 필요로 하는 경우가 많다. 생합성은 주로 효소반응이므로 효소반응이 가진 여러 가지 특성을 타나내고 특히 특이성이 풍부하다. 이 성질을 이용하여 실험적 또는 공업적으로도 여러 가지 물질의 선택적 합성이 가능하다. |
