The Astral Body is recognized as the ethereal body personifying spirit. Unfettered by the flesh, the astral body often ventures out at night when you are asleep. Transferring from your physical body to your astral, a silver thread or cord maintains the connection between the two. Said to be very fine and elastic, and so able to stretch and allow you to travel where you wish into the astral regions, the astral cord orients the astral body for its return to the physical.
