| 설명 | 막창자의 아래쪽에 있는 꼬리에 생기는 염증. 오른쪽 아랫배에 심한 통증이 있고 발열, 메스꺼움, 구토 따위의 증상이 나타난다. 터져서 복막염 따위의 합병증을 일으키므로 빨리 수술을 해야 한다. 일반인들이 ‘맹장염’이라고 하는 것으로 엄밀하게는 꼬리염과 구별하여야 한다. 이유는 염증이 맹장(막창자)에 있는 것이 아니라 꼬리에 있기 때문이다. |
