| 설명 | 아세칠콜린의 작용을 방해하는, 또는 방해하는 약을 의미한다. 아세틸콜린(acetycholine)은 주로 부교감신경의 전달물질이다. 부교감신경이라고 함은 교감신경의 반대되는 작용을 하는 신경을 의미하고 주로 사람이 휴식을 취하거나 안정시에 기능이 항진되는 자율신경계를 말한다. 즉 심장을 천천히 뛰게하고 소화기의 움직임이 활발해지고 침을 흘리고 눈동자가 작아지는 등 사람이 쉴 경우에 나타나는 신체의 변화는 모두 부교감신경의 흥분에 의한다. 그러므로 항콩린작용약물을 쓸 경우에는 부교감신경에 의해서 생기는 변화가 모두 일어나지 않게 된다. 즉 침이 흐르지 않고 소화기의 운동이 감소하며 심장이 빨리 뛰게 된다. |
