요즘 공부하면서 liver anatomy를 찾아보다가..


wikipedia의 falciform ligament에 대한 서술 중 의문이 생기는 지점이 있어 질문을 드리려합니다.


제가 알기로, falciform ligament는 liver의 Right/left segment 를 나누는 것이 아니라 left segment의 medial/lateral(IV/II, III)을 나누며


Rt./Lt. segment를 나누는 것은 middle hepatic vein인 것으로 기억합니다.


제가 기억하고 있는 것이 맞나요?


The falciform ligament is a ligament that attaches the liver to the anterior (ventral) body wall. It is a broad and thin antero-posterior peritoneal fold, falciform (Latin "sickle-shaped"), its base being directed downward and backward and its apex upward and backward. The falciform ligament droops down from the hilum of the liver. It is a ligament which separates left lobe from right lobe. Falciform means sickle shaped.

The right lobe is functionally separated from the left lobe by the middle hepatic vein. A common misconception is that the falciform ligament separates the two lobes. However, from a functional perspective (one that takes the arterial, portal venous, and systemic venous anatomy into account) the falciform ligament separates the medial and lateral segments of the left hepatic lobe.[1]
